This got me a little frustrated.

Facebook announces that they are going to put "Like" buttons all over the net. I think it is a good idea, if it was easier to put into a website than the FB Connect.

From what I heard, if enough people click the "Like" button, it gets shared to Facebook. Maybe it gets shared to all of the "Like" clickers wall, or maybe it gets put into a category on Facebook that gets buried under every website owners "Like" button implementation.

I personally don't like it, because I have worked so hard to study the coding, and put this into my site, then they say it will be offline. So I give up and turn off my coding, and direct my members to use the apps on Facebook directly, so they can share to their friends easy.

Let me share something with all the Facebook members out there. You are probably reading this, because it was a link in my Facebook Page. That was given to you from RSS Graffitti. There are other apps on Facebook to share your RSS feed, like Social RSS, and more. Those 2, in my opinion, have been the best ones to share your content from other websites.

RSS looks like this on all websites, and this is in the top of your browser, telling you that you can use it to share your stuff.

When you post in a website that feeds an RSS reader to Facebook, everything you do is shared to your wall or Facebook Page. I like this option better than FB Connect, because you never have to log into Facebook to make this share to your wall. As soon as the app sees your recent activity on a website, it feeds it into Facebook, to share it with your friends and on your wall, or Page.

To conclude, I am killing FB Connect on this site, and directing my members to use the apps on Facebook, instead of needing to sign into Facebook to share their posts.

I have set up this site to share to our Facebook Page. If you post a blog, new main forum post, or event, it will get shared to the page, once in the morning, and another share in the afternoon. I do the auto share twice a day, so that you can change your content if you misspell anything.

OMG! Aion Spam!

I just started playing Aion.  This game is seriously almost as close to WOW with wings as you can get.  I have been playing this game non stop so far, so that's why I am not available to play alot of other games like some of my favorite FPS games.  I even made a character that looks like Sephiroth, but he uses magic instead of his sword.  I was going more towards the ending in FF7, where Sephiroth was all powerful and only used magic.

My first play of this game, had the chat channels filled up, just by a few spammers, and a few whispers to go to someones website for Aion gold and leveling up.  I don't trust these guys.  They have a horde of players that go out and gather gold and resources and after you buy your stuff, they hand it over in game.  Power leveling for your players is something that can get your account taken from you, since you basically gave them your whole life's work, if you set your master account to your login name.

I heard that the makers of Aion are fighting this, I saw this the next few days later, when I created a new character and I could not even speak until I got to level 5!  That was wrong, and the team at Aion online, knew they got a flood of email of people that were legitly making a new character and wanted to chat with their friends and can't because of the new level 5 rule.  They got rid of that, and now they are trying to ban accounts trying to get you to go to those spam sites.

The sad part is, this can kill the audience of this game since I logged in last, I had to block 10 or more people with the name of "aljksdfj" and "orudkf" ect.  So, you know those are spam accounts, plus they flood the channel non stop, and won't let you chat in the trade, say or other channels.  I actually went to one of the sites, named ignaion.com and saw they offer gold and power leveling for aion and WOW.  But it seems like a scam to me, because, its just a mirror site to get you somewhere else.  They know that website will be taken down, but only the mirror site.  This sucks.  If Aion doesn't control this, they might lose me as a paying customer.  They might consider suing those companies for their losses.
