I have been reading the forums on this site, and checking out Youtube videos on how to fix your Xbox when it rrod.  I have never been one to take apart anything, and my brother isn't technology saavy himself.  So I was wondering...  Will taking the Xclamp out of the system work?

I heard you have to bake the system to melt stuff back together, but I heard the towel trick does not work.  My brother tried that, and we smelled something burning, then we sent it off to Microsoft for repair.  This happened a year ago.  I got my system back, but now I am worried that it will rrod again, and I bet they put the xclamps back in.

Does this mean I will get flex and the rrod will happen again?  Or did they put the right bonding stuff in my system when they fixed it?  Me and my brother are very concerned.  So we might try contacting someone that know how to remove our xclamp, so we don't have rrod again.  I am happy I did some research on this.  How many time your guys xbox rrod?
